Superb geometry for this lustrous Garnet var. Andradite var. Melanite crystal decorated by Epidote from Kayes Region, Mali. The Melanite crystal is black with perfect, razor-sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and strong luster. It has pretty beveled edges. The Epidote crystals are olive-green and lustrous. The specimen is complete all over with minor contacts. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts.
