Splendid specimen of gem Baryte from this famous Saxon locality - Pohla, Germany. It displays beautiful, well isolated Baryte crystals on a matrix. The color of the Baryte is simply amazing – golden amber, very saturated and striking. The crystals are very sharp and well shaped, extremely lustrous, completely transparent and gem. Some crystals are doubly terminated. Some greenish Fluorite is seen too. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts.

The golden Barytes from Pohla set the world standard and this is a choice specimen!
