Superb Cuprite crystal with sharp octahedral shape and bedazzling luster from the famous Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe deposit, Russia. It has perfect geometry, metallic faces and super mirror luster. Complete all over floater. Cavernous formations are seen on some faces. On a strong light the crystal displays some gemminess with gorgeous and rich wine-red color. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 4, July-August 2014. In very good condition – some small nicks and imperfections.

Excellent Cuprite from this closed mine!
