Cute specimen of gem and fine Spessartine Garnet crystals up to 5mm growing on a single Smoky Quartz crystal from Tongbei, China. The Spessartines are well shaped and transparent with nice orange color. They have sharp trapezohedral habit. The smoky Quartz crystal is sharp and well definite, highly lustrous to some more matt faces, transparent, and clear. Some Muscovite and Microcline are seen too. The Spessartines contrast strongly and the good quality gives perfect display on 360 degree. In very good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
