Cute small specimen of bi-color Vesuvianite from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Vesuvianite crystals are gem with charming color variations from rich purple at the center to attractive apple-green at the caps. They have glassy luster and are very well crystallized. Many crystals are doubly terminated. Displays nicely all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
