Killer top quality Vesuvianite crystal with unbelievable color from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The perfectly flat terminated crystal is gem. It has an amazing color variation from very saturated and rich raspberry-purple at the cap to apple-green core. The luster is very strong and the crystal is transparent and glassy. Displays among the most intense colors which the mine produced. The colorfulness of the specimen is gorgeous. Atop are seen small cream Garnet var. Grossular crystals which is one unique combination Displays all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
