Rare pink colored Grossular Garnets to 4mm beautifully set on white Diopside needles from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Garnet crystals are very glassy, transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasing pink color. They have perfect and sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit. The color is very tender and combined with the excellent quality make it a fine specimen from this closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
