Rich combo of skeletal Galena with Sphalerite, Chalcopyrite and Quartz from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Displays very attractive stepped Galena growth, forming gorgeous terraced structures. The Galena cubes are matt lustrous and sharp. All of them have truncated parallel corners. Black Sphalerite tetrahedrons with lustrous faces intergrow with yellow Chalcopyrite. The Quartz crystals enrich the specimen.  The bottom is sawed. In good condition – some small damages.
Choice specimen from this closed mine – the only one that makes these structures!
