Actually this specimen comes from a brand new locality in Rapid Creek area – Mt Seafoam. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. Lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, vivid and rich blue color measuring up to 2mm. The most amazing aspect is the gemminess of the crystals – they are transparent with marvelousblue-green colors. Some gemmy yellow-brown Siderite crystals add a nice accent. Some contacts.
