Killer crystal of super gem Grossular Garnet var. Tsavorite from Merelani Hills, Tanzania. Tsavorite is a very rare, green, chromium or vanadium variety of Grossular. The crystal is 11mm, very vitreous, clear, transparent and gem quality with strong luster and saturated bright green color. It has sharp rhombic dodecahedral  crystal habit with rhomboid shaped faces and pretty beveled edges. The clarity of the crystal is amazing. In superb condition. On acrylic base.
