Splendid specimen of Garnet var. Uvarovite from the type locality of Saranovskii Mine, Russia. Displays a base densely covered by Uvarovite in crystals to 1mm. They are gemmy with strong brilliance and luster combined with deep intense emerald-green color. Sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystals – very sparkling and shiny. The back is sawed. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
