Killer plate of skeletal Galena decorated by gem Sphalerite var. Cleiophane, Chalcopyrite and Quartz from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Very attractive and geometrical arrangement of stacked and aligned Galena overgrowing each other. Excellent parallel growth of cubes and elongated tetragonal prisms on different axes. They grow one atop another forming amazing terraced structure. All Galena cubes are with parallel truncated corners. The faces are matt lustrous. Gem and lustrous Sphalerite var. Cleiophane crystals grow at the lower part. Yellow Chalcopyrite and Small Quartz crystals are seen too. Displays on both sides. In very good condition – some nicks and contacts.
