Bizarre specimen of Quartz crystal sliced by thin Calcite layers from Bor Pit, Dal negorsk, Russia. It forms an aesthetic cluster of Quartz with one dominant crystal. It has sharp hexagonal shape and irregular thickness due to tectonic movements. Thin layers of Calcite cut it by very unusual manner. The Quartz crystal is transparent with strong luster. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
