Marvelous specimen of Weloganite crystals from the locality that produced by far the best specimens for the species in the world - Francon quarry, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The crystals have fantastic bottle shape - irregular barrel hexagons. They have strong luster, some gemminess, growth striations and white to yellow color. Cute small Smoky Quartzes enrich the posture. Displays nicely all over – 360 degree. The mine is closed since decades. In excellent condition – some minor imperfections. On acrylic base.
