Excellent specimen from Knappenwand, Austria - world famous mineral locality for fine Epidote. It displays beautiful cluster of Epidote crystals decorated by Calcite and Albite. The Epidote crystals are sharp and perfectly terminated with rich olive-green color. They are lustrous and strongly light reflective. When properly lighted they show marvelous transparency and gemminess. White and well shaped Albite, and Calcite crystals add nice contrast.
