Outstanding specimen of impressive Spinel Law twin Galena decorated by Chalcopyrite. The mines in Madan produce some of the finest Galena in the world and this is a choice specimen. It displays sharp, well formed Galena twins with matt luster, good brilliance and light reflection. They are terraced and stepped forming two parallel plates giving very 3 dimensional display of the specimen. Chunky yellow Chalcopyrite crystals grow above. They are well isolated and enrich the display. Attractive Quartz crystals form the base and add nice contrast. Some Pyrite cubes are seen as well. In very good condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts.
