Beautiful  specimen of red, flattened, tabular hexagonal crystals of Vanadinite aesthetically growing on black Goethite base. The Vanadinite crystals have rich red color with some orange nuances and good luster. The crystals are slightly gemmy. Vanadinites contrast strongly on the black background. For references the issue of The Mineralogical Record - Vol. 44, No. 3 May - June 2013. In very good condition – some small nicks.
