Superb Cuprite crystal with sharp octahedral shape and bedazzling luster from the famous Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe deposit, Russia. It has perfect geometry, metallic faces and super mirror luster. On a strong light the crystals display some gemminess with gorgeous and rich wine-red color. Complete all over floater. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 4, July-August 2014. Better in person. In excellent condition – some small nicks and one incomplete tip.
