First grade specimen of Lazulite from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. Lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color up to 17mm big. The crystals have slightly gemmy areas with marvelous blue nuances. Gemmy yellow-brown Siderite crystals and minor Quartz are seen too. In very good condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts.
Top quality Lazulite!
