Cool specimen of Garnet var. Andradite on Hedenbergite decorated by Quartz crystals. Rhombic dodecahedral Andradite crystals to 16mm are nested on a green Hedenbergite. The Garnets are with pleasant red-brown color, very well crystallized, with sharp edges and matt lustrous. The matrix is of parallel Hedenbergite columns, grown in a cluster. Nice finish is the Quartz crystals. Complete all over 360 degree. In good condition – some small nicks and contacts.
