Beautiful specimen of Garnet var. Andradite on Hedenbergite decorated by attractive Quartz crystals. Rhombic dodecahedral Andradite crystals to 5mm are nested on green Hedenbergite. The Garnets are with pleasant red-brown color, very well crystallized, with sharp edges and matt lustrous. The matrix is of parallel Hedenbergite columns, grown in a cluster. Aesthetic finish is the Quartz crystals. In very good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base.
