Superb small jewel of Garnet var. Grossular var. Chromian. The crystals are super gem and clear up to 3mm. They have deep and saturated grass-green color due to Chromium to apple green areas. This bi-coloration is quite unusual. The Garnets are with sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystallization, glassy luster and irresistible color. Fine thumbnail from this closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.

Splendid gem-green Garnets!
