Marvelous specimen of gem Spessartine Garnet with Smoky Quartz crystals on a Microcline base. The Spessartine crystals are well isolated and gem with rich orange color. They have sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. The color and the glassy gemminess of the Spessartines are unusual and different from the regular Tongbei garnets. Sharp Smoky Quartz crystals stand from the base. They are lustrous, transparent and clear with very dark smoky-black color. In excellent condition – some micro nicks and small natural imperfections.
