Superb small crystal of gem Grossular Garnet var. Tsavorite. The Tsavorite is very rare, green, chromium or vanadium variety of Grossular. The crystal is 8mm, very vitreous, clear, transparent and gem quality with strong luster, and pleasing green color. Rhombohedral crystal habit with rhomboid shaped faces. The clarity of the crystal is amazing. Some minor Graphite is seen on the back side. In very good condition – some micro nicks and back side contact. On acrylic base.
