Superb specimen of gemmy Orpiment crystals forming a beautiful cluster. This is an old piece from an uncommon Peruvian locality - Atacocha mine, Cerro de Pasco. It comes from the collection of Maurizio Sprovieri, Italy with label. The Orpiment is very well crystallized with brilliant and extremely lustrous faces. The color is very saturated and intense orange, which is simply striking. Some crystals are from translucent to transparent and gemmy with yellow nuances. In very good condition – some nicks and contacts.
