Gorgeous small jewel of top quality Garnet var. Grossular var. Chromian. The crystals are super gem and clear up to 1mm. They have very deep and saturated grass-green color due to Chromium. They are with sharp crystallization, glassy luster and irresistible color. Some small inclusions of black Chromite are seen too. Light green Diopside crystals grow on the base. Fine piece from this closed mine - very colorful and gem. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base.
