First grade specimen of Lazulite from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. Lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color up to 14mm big. The crystals have slightly gemmy areas with marvelous blue nuances. Gemmy yellow Siderite crystals and transparent Quartz are seen too. Some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
