Pleasing bi-color Vesuvianite specimen. The Vesuvianite crystals are gem with charming color variations from purple centers to apple-green tips. The colors are vivid and the contrast is strong. With exemplary glassy luster and very well crystallized. Some crystals are doubly terminated. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
