Knappenwand is a world famous mineral locality for fine Epidote-Byssolite and this is an attractive specimen. Very dense cluster of fibrous hair like Byssolite needles is decorated by Epidote crystals. Byssolite has green color and it is very sparkling. Epidotes have very dark olive-green color.
