From a recent find comes this beautiful combo of gem Garnet var. Spessartine crystals grown on a single black Tourmaline var. Schorl. The Spessartines have perfect trapezohedral shape, up to 10mm big and are well formed. They are sharp, highly lustrous, with tremendous deep wine red color. The crystals are vitreous and gem. Schorl is well crystallized, with a strong luster and nice striations. In good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
