Marvelous bright and gem blue Lazulite crystals with very rare gem Kulanite from a new find in Rapid Creek - the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. Lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color measuring up to 3mm. The most amazing aspect is the gemminess of the crystals – they are transparent with marvelous and saturated blue-green colors. In the other side of the specimen are seen small gem Kulanite crystals with oil green color. Kulanite is very rare mineral and this is the type locality. Some gemmy yellow-brown Siderite crystals add a nice accent. Some small nicks and side contacts. On acrylic base.

Superb gem Lazulite and Kulanite!
