Knappenwand is world famous mineral locality for Epidote and this is a fine specimen. The Epidote crystals grow in an aesthetic cluster with many free standing blades. They have rich olive-green color. The crystals are lustrous and strongly light reflective. The Epidotes are very sharp, well terminated and when back lighted are gemmy. Displays from all sides. Ref.
