Fine specimen of gem green Garnet var. Andradite var. Demantoid from Antetezambato, Madagascar. On a small host rock grow up to 16mm Demantoide crystals. They have sharp trapezohedral habit with some modifications and strong luster. The crystals are transparent and gem. The color is olive-green to yellow-green. The locality for these Demantoides is exhausted and this is a pleasing specimen. In very good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
