Pleasing single Cuprite crystal almost completely pseudomorphed by Copper. Displays sharp Cuprite octahedron of 17mm. Later the Cuprite has been replaced and pseudomorphed by Copper, keeping the octahedral shape. The unusual aspect of these pseudomorphs is that the Copper forms small clusters with copper-brown color. Complete all over. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 4, July-August 2014. In excellent condition – some small imperfections. On acrylic base.

Marvelous Copper pseudomorph!
