Gorgeous old specimen of reticulated Cerussite from Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. It was mined in 1943 and was part of the German collector Ott – comes with an old label. The reticulated growth is due to cyclic twinning. The Cerussite blades are very sharp and highly lustrous with some gemminess. Some crystals have light blue-green hue due to Malachite inclusions. On the back side is seen the dark host mineralization with some very small unidentified crystals. In very good condition – some small contacts.
Splendid Cerussite snowflake!
