Beautiful specimen of vivid red, flattened, tabular hexagonal crystals of Vanadinite attractively set on a base covered by black Mottramite or Manganese Oxides. The crystals have intense blood color with some orange nuances and great luster. They are slightly gemmy. Very sparkling micro black crystals of Mottramite or Manganese Oxides add a nice contrast. The specimen is very fresh and complete all over – almost a floater specimen. For references the issue of The Mineralogical Record - Vol. 44, No. 3 May - June 2013. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts.
