Top quality specimen for the locality of Quartz var. Amethyst from a new find in this less common Bulgarian locality. It displays elegant Quartz var. Amethyst crystals that grow vertically on Quartz base. Quartz coloration varies from colorless to purple - more intense at the lower part. The crystals are vitreous and chunky with sharp pyramidal tips and good luster. Two crystals are doubly terminated. Some blue-green Chalcanthite is seen on the base and that enriches the contrast. Some Chalcopyrite is seen too. Displays nicely from all sides. In excellent condition – some outside edges contacts.
