Marvelous and very rare crystals of gemmy Carletonite with some dichroism - two disparate colors: purple and blue. Carletonite is one of the very rare mineral species unique for the type locality Mont Saint-Hilaire. Crystals are not often seen. The specimen has one dominant 12mm cubic crystal and some smaller. Carletonite has from rich royal blue color to purple. The Carletonite is very well shaped and sharp, glassy, gemmy - beautifully exhibit its lovely colors. In good condition – some contacts. On acrylic base.
