Splendid specimen of Garnet var. Andradite on Hedenbergite decorated by attractive Quartz crystals. Dodecahedral Andradite crystals to 12mm are nested on green Hedenbergite. The Garnets are with pleasing red-brown color, very well crystallized, with sharp edges and matt luster. The matrix is of parallel Hedenbergite columns, grown in a cluster. Nice finish is the Quartz crystals. In very good condition – some side contacts and partial base cracks.
