Splendid Quartz var. Smoky from Mont Saint-Hilaire, Canada. It has rich and intense smoky-black color, highly lustrous, glassy, gem, completely transparent and the edges are razor sharp. It has scepter like shape with one much thinner crystal impaled on the chunky cluster. Some yellowish inclusions add nice accent. White Albite crystals are seen too. Complete all over Ref: The Mineralogical Record, 21, 332-333. In good condition – some contacts.
