From a new find comes this beautiful combo of gemmy Garnet var. Spessartine crystal grown on a single black Tourmaline var. Schorl. Spessartine is 14mm and has perfect trapezohedral shape. It is well formed, sharp, and highly lustrous, with tremendous deep wine red color. The crystal is vitreous and gemmy. Schorl is well crystallized, with a strong luster and nice striations. In very good condition – some micro nicks and base contacts. On acrylic base.
