Very fine and gemmy Villiaumite cubic crystal. Villiaumite is one of the rare mineral species for this famous locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire. It has rich carmine-red color, incredibly sharp, well-formed, with cubic faces. The piece appears to be very dark red, but when backlit, it can be seen an intense carmine-red color. The crystal is transparent and gemmy - beautifully exhibit its lovely color. It is complete-all-around. Some small damages. On acrylic base.
