Fabulous orange colored Grossular Garnets to 9mm grown in an attractive shape. Grossular crystals are transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasing rich color. Rhombic dodecahedral and trapezohedral habit with sharp crystallization. All crystals have very pretty striations. Uncommon addition is white Prehnite crystals, forming the crust base. With such amazing aesthetics, gemminess, glassy luster and irresistible color it is truly superb specimen. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.

Exquisitely beautiful!
