Diamonds like and extremely rare colorless Grossular Garnets to 5mm associated with Diopside. The Garnet crystals are very glassy, completely transparent, gem quality with superb luster and water clear. Perfect and razor sharp rhombic decahedral crystal habit. Garnets are scattered on green Diopsides. The amazing clarity and gemminess make it remarkable specimen from this closed mine. This specimen is found in 1988. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.  In superb condition – outside edges contacts. On acrylic base.
