World grade specimen of Dioptase from this great mine. The specimen is mined on level 31, May 1985. Dioptase crystals are up to 17mm, extremely brilliant and waxy lustrous with a very rich emerald-green color and sharp, perfectly terminated crystals. The crystals have cubic and rhombohedral habit and some are doubly terminated. The quality is exceptional with very fresh appearance. The crystals are gemmy with marvelous blue-green nuances. White Calcite forms thin crust below. In excellent condition - outside edges contacts and very small nicks.
