Marvelous blood red, flattened, tabular hexagonal crystals of Vanadinite beautifully grown in a cluster. Vanadinite crystals have an intense color and a great luster. The crystals are gemmy, bright, with some orange nuances. The Vanadinites at the lower part are covered with a white coating – probably Aragonite. That adds an additional contrast. For references the issue of The Mineralogical Record - Vol. 44, No. 3 May - June 2013. In excellent condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
Superb!
