From a new find comes this beautiful combo of gem Garnet var. Spessartine crystals grown on a single black Tourmaline var. Schorl. Spessartines have perfect trapezohedral shape, up to 5mm big and are well formed. They are sharp, highly lustrous, with a tremendous deep wine red color. The crystals are vitreous and gem. Schorl is well crystallized, with a strong luster and nice striations. In good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
