Beautiful Prehnite specimen with an elegant display. Very dark olive green (almost black) Epidote crystal at the base is decorated by splendid Prehnite balls grown one atop another in an attractive structure. Epidote crystal is lustrous and doubly terminated. Prehnite balls above are well isolated, fresh and lustrous, translucent with a velvet green color. They have some needle inclusions. Some white Stilbites are seen too.  The quality of the specimen is very good. Ref: The Mineralogical Record, May-June 2011, Volume 41, No 3 - Mineral collecting in Mali.
