Gorgeous Vesuvianite specimen with intergrown crystals. The perfectly terminated crystals are with pointy tips and many are doubly terminated. They have intense dark purple color to very pleasing orange areas. The Vesuvianites are gemmy with a strong luster.  At the top are grown small sparkling Clinochlore crystals. Displays nicely all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In superb condition. On acrylic base.
