Gorgeous jewels of rare colorless Garnet var. Grossular. The crystals are super gem and water clear, with green cores on the host rock. Some crystals have light cream hue. They are quite big – up to 13mm. Rhombic-dodecahedral sharp crystallization and glassy luster. Around are grown small green Diopsides that add a nice contrast. Top quality Garnets from this inactive mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some outside edges contacts. On acrylic base.
Astounding beauty!
